A Grandeur Competense

“How Dare?” are the words that flow from our heart when we look into the Mumbai massacre. With respect to the attack by the terrorists, those words sound out of our anger and agitation. On the other hand those words could be out of pride and patriotism when we see the counter attack by the Indian NSGs.

People at wits' end:
When a foreign terrorist enters and does his destruction with ease, people around it become deranged. The famous hotels have been lionized by the attack, thanks to the attack. But when we peep to the other side of the coin, people tend to have a second thought to stay at most popular hotels. They get obsessed by the atrocious thoughts, which drive them away from their normal living.

Given half a chance, brushed aside:
Most surprising among these is that the attack had been forewarned. Fishermen who are the unemployed coastal guards had seen some alien boats moving with RDX explosive to city’s underworld. Also the targets were set as the Gateway, Oberoi-Trident and the Taj Mahal hotel. Normally some kind of simple things tend to become complex. If the simple things had been monitored properly, the catastrophe might not have happened. It’s better to prevent than to cure.

Technology at its worst:
The well known GPS technology was used for the worst thing ever. “The Global Positioning System was used to trace the way to Mumbai from Pakistan”, said Ajmal, the jihadi held by the Mumbai police. They were not meant for suicide attack. The attack was well planned from their departure to Mumbai till their return. Some of the jihadis were “Abu Ali, Fahad, Omar, Akasha, Ismail, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Rahman (chota).

A Valiant Encounter:

Keeping aside the past happenings, the NSGs (National Security Guards) were resolute in their counter-attack. They did not get perturbed by the audacious threat by the terrorist. Though 185 people were killed and more than 300 were injured, it did not restrain the dauntless heroes from their patriotic encounters.

On the whole it was a gallant effort from the NSGs. The most probable words from the people go as,” Don’t worry about those who came through boats they can be defeated by our dashing heroes, but do worry about those who come through votes they are the real enemies”.
